Liars! Liars! Pants on fire!
Allow me to start with an apology. To all those who come here expecting calm and reasoned analysis of the awfulness that is the UK government’s current policies regarding trans people, i cannot. I truly cannot, today.
I cannot continue to gloss over, give cover or otherwise excuse the vicious, vindictive, cruel rhetoric that passes for informed “debate” about trans people and has been given free rein by leading members of government this past week.

Where to start? The horror that is Nadhim Zahawi, Education Secretary? A man, with the moral compass of an intercontinental ballistic missile, who “apologised unreservedly” after The Sunday Mirror reported that he had claimed almost £6,000 expenses for electricity, which included heating for his riding school stables? Happily, his constituency — Stratford-on-Avon — includes a lot of horses. Because i cannot see the fuel impoverished wanting him to stay as their MP.
