Trans folk in the UK have had a hard time of it lately, but hope is at hand…
Gender crits in the UK think they are winning. Certainly, they have had a few little local victories. But across the world, the picture is very different. Trans rights are coming. Those so loud, so desperate to erase us from existence are losing.
Shitty Britain
Let’s not mince words. It is a shit time to be trans and living in the UK. On the one hand, we are blessed with a supine press and media that imagines it is supporting trans people by running a new story about the “first” trans man to give birth every six months or so, or the incredible boob job of the latest arrived yesterday trans model; and alternates those with schlock horror about drag queens kidnapping innocent children and spiriting them away to a fae and distant land before returning them, seven years later, utterly changed.
On t’other we have a judiciary whose ignorance of matters trans is matched only by its jealous determination that they — and only they — should be allowed to wear wigs and long flowing robes in public. Not forgetting the gender critical, whose obsession with trans people has lately turned to presenting evidence to parliament to the effect that trans women are an accident; the unfortunate side-effect of men…
